Stop back here for future announcements on this, but step one, with the help of our members at National City Bank, has been accomplished.

2. ASIS Cleveland “Website of the Year” Award:  It’s official. We won. Number One. If you’d like to comment on the website, for either accolades or suggestions to improve it – always welcome – please comment HERE. Note that comments are anonymous if you desire.

As a service to the members the officers and Exec. Comm. have approved all changes necessary in accounts to accept major credit cards on the website. Soon you will have the option to charge any meeting fees, luncheon fees, dues, or donations to the Scholarship fund or donations toward operations costs or other funds, or ASIS Cleveland events, to your credit card on the website securely (website processing ONLY – not by phone or in person). Coming soon.

2. Security Speaker’s Bureau Announced, Implemented:  By approval of the officers and Exec. Comm., the ASIS Cleveland Security Speaker’s Bureau has been approved and created under the Private Security Services Council of the Chapter. Part of our purpose as a chapter is to advance security in Northeast Ohio, and speaking to bona fide groups interested in hearing about security issues and methods is one way to do that. In just setting this up, we’ve already had one inquiry that led to hooking up a group with a speaker listed on the speaker’s bureau page! For more on this, see Security Speaker’s Bureau. Contact us with questions or to help or participate.
